Awareness and Fundraising Drive 2024
Oldmanwilderness is preparing this exciting project and looking for VOLUNTEERS.
This Drive will lead from Germany to Southern Africa, through 22 countries. In every country, interviews will be held with government representatives as well as local NGOs, focussing on the questions "What is done/planned for wildlife/nature conservation and what has been achieved since the COP15 conference on Biodiversity in December 2022 in Montreal?".
Also, we want to give attention to local conservation initiatives from young people, giving them a platform to be heard and the possibility to gain funding for their activities.
A unique feature of the project is the fact that it will be mostly driven by young students. Enthusiastic changemakers and decision-takers in the age group between 15 and 20, who want and need a healthy planet to live their lives in.
